17th November, 2006
Risepark Stylemarker (IMP UK) arrives in Australia sent by Barry Day & Peter Newman,
Risepark Miniature Schnauzers, United Kingdom. Thank you Peter and Barry.
The arrival of Risepark Stylemarker sees the culmination of 2 years of planning however, in addition to Barry Day and Peter Newman of Risepark Miniature Schnauzers in the United Kingdom, special mention and thanks must go to Ralph Richardson of Workx Miniature Schnauzers (most know Ralph as 'That fantastic groomer' whose prior prefix, 'Mirazac,' many will be familiar with). So back in May of 2006 we sat in a yard surrounded by puppies as well as quite a few well known adult dogs including the legendary, Ch Adamis Frontrunner. Behind us seated outside the yard but watching intently as we were, was Mr Barry Day and in the opinion of us and many others, one of the world's leading Miniature Schnauzer authorities, Mr Peter Newman. We were of course just outside Birmingham, in England having just watched Mr Day judge an entry of over 120 Miniature Schnauzers at the Birmingham National (second only to Crufts in size). But the observations that day, together with Peter Newman's and Barry Day's careful observations in the 6 months since, now sees the arrival into Australia on QF2 17th November, 2006, of Risepark Stylemarker (IMP UK), who with Peter Newman's permission we have called 'Newman' (call name.) With a pedigree that reads like a 'who's who' of Minis, including the legendary Ch Rampage Representative as G Grandparent on both sides, we are sure Barry Day was not wrong when he said, "All is well with Newman, he is going to have a superb head and long neck.' (amongst other sought after Miniature Schnauzer traits.) Be sure to see this boy when he enters the ring in the coming months.
